Hello Andy!!
Hello everyone! I've many hobbies and salsa dancing is one of them. So, today I'd like to tell you a bit about salsa dancing. Have you ever heard about salsa dancing? Have you ever seen anyone dancing salsa. I discovered salsa about 15 years ago, it was in Sydney, there was a latin festival and I was really impressed with what I saw, I also liked the music. Soon after that, I started doing some research and realised that it's originally from Cuba. So, I decided to go to Cuba. Since then I've been to Cuba about 6 times. I truly enjoyed my time there, Cuban people are very friendly and very pleasent to talk with. I've always been interested in health and fitness, this new addiction certainly helped me to keep in good shape.
Because of my previous job, I had a chance to travel the world. For about 12 years, I danced salsa every night, as long as I was not flying, I went to salsa clubs all over the world, London, Paris, Singapore, etc...
Salsa craze started about 15 years ago, at that time I thought that it'd last for few years, something like 5 years, but I was wrong and I'm very happy about my wrong judgement. Salsa dancing is still very popular all over the world, Sometimes I think it's more popular these days than it was 15 years ago.
There are many Salsa festivals held all over the world each year, people from all over the world gather for few days, and they all have onething on their mind, dance, dance and dance ofcourse it's also a good way to make long term friendships with people from all over the world. In salsa dancing world, they used a theme '' Salsa unites the world ''. It sure does, I strongly believe in that.
Would you like to know my most favourite destination for salsa dancing? well, gues what? it's Singapore. I really enjoy going to a salsa club there and socialize with my friends afterwords, I've done it several times, that unique experience is something I'd like to treasure forever.
During my last vacation, I spent 3 months in New York, I rented an apartment in Manhattan and I only had one purpose, I made the most out of my time there. New York is a very expensive city, so I spent a fortune on that vacation, but it was well worth it.
There are many salsa clubs all over the world. Most people who go to a salsa club for the first time, they straight away get hooked on it.
Salsa music is really interesting, lyrics are Spanish, if I've a chance, I'd like to study Spanish someday, but because I've studied Italian, I understand a bit of Spanish.
